Meet HPC

A family of families that loves you and your family

Heritage Church is a warm community centered on our Savior, Jesus Christ, devoted to His Word, and connected supportively with one another. Our church family is made up of folks from all ages and stages, coming from a wide range of backgrounds. We are bonded by our faith and strive to grow together in faithfulness to our faithful God, serving one another and our community with the gifts that God has given each us.

Our philosophy of ministry: Truth in Love

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

2 Timothy 3:16-17 English Standard Version

Truth: Everything here starts with The Word of God. Our world longs for truth while at the same time denying that such a thing can exist. Yet the Creator of the universe has lovingly delivered a message of truth and hope to us in the Bible — the gospel of grace in Jesus Christ. That is why we are a people devoted to the Word of God, growing always in grace by submitting ourselves to the error-less message of life, which has been breathed out by God Himself in the Bible.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Ephesians 2:10 English Standard Version

Love: As children of God and followers of Christ, we are called to service. The Bible makes it clear that we are all gifted to serve. We believe that God's people are most "on fire" for the Lord when we are able to serve within our gifts. We would love to have the opportunity to serve you and to help you find your place to serve.

The Joseph Narrative
Genesis

For 2024 we will complete our study of Genesis by working through the final section focusing on the Joseph narrative. The underlying theme of Joseph's life and calling is God's sovereign power to work all things for good (c.f. Genesis 50:20 and Romans 8:28). His covenant of grace with us in Christ cannot be thwarted.
